Position Overview:

As the Director of Reporting & Analytics at TAG, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our data analytics landscape. You will be responsible for modernizing our reporting platform, empowering teams with self-service analytics tools, and harnessing data governance solutions like Atlan and Monte Carlo to ensure data quality, lineage, and accessibility. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a talented team and shape the future of data-driven decision-making within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modernize Reporting Platform: Drive the evolution of our reporting infrastructure by adopting cutting-edge technologies and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is easily accessible and insightful.

  • Self-Service Analytics: Enable business units to become more self-sufficient in their analytics needs. Develop and implement self-service analytics solutions that empower users to create reports and dashboards independently.

  • Data Governance: Utilize tools such as Atlan and Monte Carlo to establish robust data governance practices. Ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Toolset Optimization: Maximize the potential of our analytics tools, including Google Cloud, Tableau, Dash Plotly, and others. Identify opportunities to enhance functionality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing analytics team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their analytics needs and provide strategic insights. Act as a trusted advisor on data and analytics matters.

  • Training and Development: Develop training programs to enhance data literacy across the organization, ensuring that all employees can effectively leverage modern analytics tools.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics); master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in data analytics, reporting, and data governance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Tableau, Dash Plotly, and experience with Google Cloud services.

  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and experience with data catalog and lineage tools (e.g., Atlan).

  • Familiarity with data quality management platforms (e.g., Monte Carlo).

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving data-driven transformations.
