The University of Chicago\'s Department of Medicine, Section of Dermatology, seeks full-time faculty members for appointment at the Assistant Professor rank. Appointees will have clinical responsibilities including Mohs micrographic surgery, procedural and cosmetic clinics, and shared on-call activity at University of Chicago Medicine. Appointees will also have the opportunity to manage complex and high-risk skin cancer patients. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity.

We especially welcome applicants with interests in medical education, a sub-specialty and/or the ability to direct and implement a specialty program in dermatology. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: (1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent (2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois, (3) be board certified or eligible in Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery or equivalent, and (4) have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Procedural Dermatology or Micrographic Surgery or equivalent training approved by the American College of Mohs Surgery.
