Responsibilities:**

  • Create and implement ETL processes using Talend Studio to extract, transform, and load data.

  • Integrate data from various sources and systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Design and implement data mapping and transformation logic according to business requirements.

  • Work with various databases and data warehouses, optimizing data retrieval and storage.

  • Ensure data quality through testing and validation of ETL processes.

  • Optimize Talend jobs for performance and efficiency, addressing bottlenecks as needed.

  • Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data models, and data flow.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and data architects, to understand requirements and implement solutions.

  • Investigate and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes.

  • Provide support for production systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

  • Utilize version control systems to manage Talend job versions and changes.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Talend Studio.

  • Strong understanding of data integration concepts and techniques.

  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, AS400/DB2, Azure SQL Servr) and data warehouses.

  • Ability to write and understand scripts, preferably in languages such as Java or Python.

  • Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Talend Cloud Migration expertise is preferred.

Good to Have: Talend with Java.
