Senior Field Applications Engineer

Job Description:

Job Title: Field Application Engineer - Energy and Power, North China Region.

Summary : This position is based in Chengdu/Xi'an and reports to the China Regional FAE Manager in Shanghai.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the new products introduction and technical training to sales.

  • Responsible for the technical support for key customers in West/North China district.

  • Partner with the sales team by providing technical support and consulting to promote design wins, maximized margins, and market share.

  • Develop relationships with customer engineers and engineering management, as well as, supplier reps. Advocate design win priorities, initiatives, and promotions by obtaining buy-in and support from sales.

  • Frequent travel is required.

  • Strong self-learning ability is required.

Basic Requirements:

  • BS/MS Electrical Engineering or equivalent,

  • Experience in application of semiconductors, such as diodes, thyristor, IGBT, MOSFET, Familiar with SiC and GaN device is plus.

  • Knowledge in Inverter design, New Energy such as solar inverter, servo inverter, Wind power inverter, DC/AC power supply, APF, SVG, on board charger, EV/HEV machine controller, etc,

  • 2 years within a Power Electronic product design engineer,

  • 3 plus years' FAE experience within Energy and Power or similar market,

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skill sets to work efficiently in a Team-based and distributed work environment,

  • Oral and written technical English skills,

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications,
