Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager, assists in the installation, maintenance and repairs normal and essential systems for the hospital and associated properties.

  • Must be able to read blue prints.

  • Must have some minor computer skills (work order systems)

  • Must have good communication skills.

  • Must have general knowledge or willing to learn equipment associated with the support of a hospital.

  • Moving Equipment and furniture.

  • Must be able to perform task without supervision present.

  • Is Flexible: copes successfully with a variety of situations, personalities, and the changing environments.

  • Recognizes and performs duties which need to be performed, although not directly assigned.

  • Ability to move Medical Record boxes and organize based on number or alphabet.

  • Respond promptly to inquiries.

  • Installation of phone and electrical wiring.

  • HIPAA Compliance required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • One year of commercial construction or industrial.

  • Maintenance experience.

  • One year of practical experience in an accredited.

  • Must be able to perform minor electrical, HVAC, mechanical repairs and construction.

Pay Range

$17.89 - $24.60 /hour
