Ambulatory Monitor Tech (Chattanooga Heart - Main Office)Full Time - First Shift (2510005098)


Job Summary:

Responsible for patient education, accurate testing, preparation of test results, and analysis of monitor tracings.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform scanning of all monitor tracings in preparation for physician review.

  • Review Paceart system daily for new event monitor tracings.

  • Analyze holter monitor and event monitor tracings. Report abnormal studies to nurse or MD promptly.

  • After hours on call schedule as assigned.

  • Responsible for accurate record keeping.

  • Maintain good communication with physicians, patients and vendors.

  • Ensure that last patient has been seen before ending work day.

  • Responsible for informing supervisor of equipment problems and needs.

  • Holter and event monitor application as needed.



  • Qualified Medical Assistant, Ambulatory Monitoring Technician, or Certified Cardiographic Technician.


  • Two years in medical office or hospital setting with strong background in EKG analysis and/or arrhythmia interpretation.


  • BLS certification
