We are looking for a sales professional with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients. This position will get direct support and training from the CEO while the Charlotte branch is being launched and then eventually report to an eventual Director of Sales - Charlotte Branch. Someone who will be successful in this role is the type of person: who can build quick rapport and trust with others, who wants to bet on themselves, and who is excited at the prospect of earning clients' trust- turning trust and good service into a recurring book of business.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
General: The Account Manager cultivates client relationships, oversees project management for current and potential business, and owns all aspects of the sales process, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Leadership Responsibilities: Industry leadership via Trade Association involvement. If applicable, will be expected to serve on a committee within their Trade Association.
Task types and examples of job duties for the successful Account Manager:
Business Development:
Meet sales goals as outlined via individual pro forma
Earn the trust and business from every manager at each assigned management company
Earn the business for each location for each assigned manager
Earn all the available business and service lines from each location
Relationship Stewardship
Main point of contact and face of the company for assigned accounts
Consultative expert: Provide customer education on SOR services, processes, and value propositions
Annual review meetings/ budgetary planning assistance for clients
Project Ownership:
Pre-project site inspections and bids
Define scope and prescribe process, set the expectations for results
Provide consultative expertise and advice
Complaint resolution
Internal Operations:
Working smoothly with our sales support team members, including administrative and scheduling professionals
Collaboration with Operations Team leaders on project management
Reporting and inter-team communication
Annual pro-forma budget creation and administration
Direct gross margin tracking
Customer collections in collaboration with AC and VP of Finance
Pipeline management and administration
Other duties as needed

A minimum of 5 years of proven successful sales experience

COMPENSATION:
SOR will provide a competitive compensation package of salary, incentives, and benefits with a guaranteed floor for year 1 due to entering a new market.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary (annualized, paid weekly) plus Commission (paid monthly), guaranteed earnings floor for years 1 and 2 (due to entering new market)
