Insight Global Financial Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description

- Insight Global is looking for a Financial Data Analyst for a large financial services client in the Charlotte, NC area. This role is going to be working in the Global Liquidity Management group, and working heavily with data needed for reporting. This person needs to be skilled in both Excel and Tableau and needs to be interested in working with large sets of data to provide update and communicate with other lines of business within the bank. Becoming a subject matter expert ("SME") on the Regulatory Requirements Traceability (RRT) Blueprint system. They will partner closely with the GLM Governance Change Control owners to understand what regulatory reporting updates are being made and analyzing how those impact the RRT Blueprint documentation. Also this person will be performing analytics on Blueprint artifacts including reconciliation of updates that occur for business-as-usual ("BAU") change control activity and producing reporting for Blueprint Annual Reviews. They will optimizing current version-over-version reports for the Liquidity Business Reporting Analytics ("LIBRA") system template compares. Assisting in LIBRA change control management. This individual will be presenting to upper management on errors within their data.

Skills and Requirements

  • Ability to analyze and manipulate large quantities of data with great attention to detail as well as understand the flow of data within database applications

  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong excel skills

  • General knowledge of SQL (no need to be able to write SQL)

  • Proficient with Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint)

  • 3+ years of financial and/or data analytics experience with a financial institution

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field - or related work experience - Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining reporting in a consistent manner

  • Understanding of Treasury / liquidity concepts and liquidity regulations

  • Strong sense of urgency null
