REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Food Handlers card or be able to obtain. 1 year experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrate full-service restaurant cooking experience, must be able to follow written recipes and order tickets, current knowledge of culinary trends, understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures, ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more daily, must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Cook will be preparing food following recipes, already be skilled or will be trained in grill cooking, pizza making, saut cooking, following to recipes to make sauces, pastas and the many other specialties and will produce a quality product in a timely manner while maintaining proper equipment and food safety procedures. Always following proper health code requirements, food rotation, labeling and sanitation practices. Other duties as assigned. The cook should understand company costs and ensure proper recipe adherence. SCHEDULE: To be discussed with the employer at the time of interview. Hours may vary.
