Principal Service Solutions is hiring Entry Level Installation Technicians that will perform installation, maintenance and troubleshoot high vacuum pumps, abatement, gas and chemical delivery systems.

Pay Rate: $25- $28/hr DOE

We are searching for detail-oriented people with mechanical and electrical experience using hand and power tools, e.g. vehicle repairs or maintenance, repair electromechanical equipment, etc... OJT provided!

Job Description:

  • Learn to use safe procedures, follow SOPs, and properly use all recommended PPE.

  • Upon completion of training, complete and maintain various documentation and use computer systems in the execution of your daily activities.

  • Develop and maintain rapport with team members and customers ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Demonstrate considerable flexibility as you may be required to work weekdays, weekends, day and night shifts as well as being "on-call" periodically.

  • As knowledge and familiarity of the systems increases, the following additional duties may apply.

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks and troubleshoot errors or failures to root cause.

  • Undertake remedial action to restore product to normal operating condition.

  • Learn the ability to demonstrate or train correct PM and/or operation of equipment during the commissioning and setup.

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be a driven, independent individual and have a positive attitude, be energetic and enthusiastic and   possess a strong willingness to learn with a commitment to excellence.

  • A self-starter who can set priorities, can demonstrate initiative and the ability to get the job done. Must be capable of exercising good independent judgment.

  • Possess excellent communication skills.

  • Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.

  • Competent in the use of test equipment including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools.

  • Possess basic computer skills, which includes knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • May be required to work in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to pass background investigation and drug screen. A valid driver’s license is required

  • Must be able to work UP TO 60 hours per week (dependent on customer needs

  • Must be able to wear full face respirator

  • Must wear company provided uniform  

    Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and at heights

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds

  • May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing

    Educational Requirements:

  • AS degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Repair, or  HVAC

    OR

  • Military training and a demonstrated degree of technical/mechanical knowledge

OR

  • 1 to 3 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration or basic vacuum will also be acceptable.
