Job Purpose: Serves customers by loading and unloading renting items; verifying payment; maintaining rental items. Minor workers age 16-17 are subject to minor work limitations/requirements per Washington State regulations. Duties: * Verify rental items are clean and in usable condition before and after use by customers. * Fills order by retrieving and preparing items. * Trains customer by providing operational instructions and cautions. * Completes rental contract by entering identification information; explaining rental policies and procedures; obtaining customer signature. * Collects revenue by computing rental charges; adjusting charges for damages; examining and entering credit cards; examining and verifying checks; receiving cash. * Verifies revenue by reconciling rental agreements with receipts; forwarding to accounting. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. * Enhances company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Skills/Qualifications: Customer Service, Customer Focus, Verbal Communication, Listening, Documentation Skills, Motivation for Sales, Selling to Customer Needs, Professionalism, People Skills, PC Proficiency, Job Knowledge, Willingness to get dirty in the course of cleaning and maintaining rental equipment.  Comfortable using a pressure washer.  Some experience in woodwork and metal painting very helpful.  Ability to regularly lift 25 to 50lbs required.
