Kellanova Materials Handler in Cary, North Carolina

Join our team in a night shift Materials Handler role in our Cary, NC facility! As an important part of the shipping and receiving process, you'll help us get our beloved products into stores around the country. You will also collaborate with many diverse people and perspectives and be a part of the united values and winning culture at Kellanova. This is an overnight shift role, 6 pm-6 am working on a 2-2-3 rotation with every other weekend off. The hourly rate is $20.61.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Packing with Care – You will be selecting finished products for customer orders and preparing shipping procedures while making sure our paperwork and food safety requirements are met. You will be responsible for sanitation inspections and moving trash, scrap, and other debris.

  • Following Best Practices – As Shipping has become second nature to you, you will verify that all appropriate goods are being shipped to the correct destination.

  • On-Time Scheduling – You will be scheduling incoming/outbound materials and finished product shipments.

  • Continuous Improvement – You will be responsible for learning WMS systems on stand-up forklifts and high-reach trucks as well as having a strong understanding of required audits within the facility .

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness and ability to work on weekends, and holidays and variable shifts.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds & perform other duties as assigned.

  • This position requires regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies. Additionally, the ability to interact well with other employees and work overtime, as necessary, is required.

  • Must not have more than one forklift-related violation or property damage within one (1) year.
