Description

Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.

Summary Performs radiographic procedures and a variety of technical procedures to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients that require independent judgement, in order to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as assigned. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the appropriate care to the age of the patient served by the Department of Imaging Services.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:Requires two (2) years of college. General knowledge of a specialized or technical field normally associated with an A.A. or A.S. degree.

Experience:Practically no prior experience required. Could rely on education and knowledge required for employment. Three to six months required for learning period.

License: NYS Radiologic Technologist; ARRT certification or eligibility.
