JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares correspondence as needed. Edit material for grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Types, creates and distributes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports. Handle all correspondence both incoming and outgoing; determining those items which require a response and in general, coordinate all of the activities that this entails. Answer telephone, providing appropriate information to callers, routing calls to proper staff, and taking complete and accurate messages. Keeps timekeeping and attendance records for the staff. Maintain adequate office supplies, order supplies as necessary. Maintains a high degree of professionalism, observe etiquette, and practices strict confidentiality. In coordination with the Table Games Manager is responsible for scheduling the daily activities of the office, maintaining a calendar, assisting with deadlines, reports, meetings, and appointments. Prepare and track billing, invoices, and contracts for the department. Also completes Purchase Orders for payment for the Table Games Department. Develop and maintain all office related file systems both electronic and manual. Appropriate work attire is required. Must attend all mandatory department trainings. Must attend all required Title 31 and/or SARC trainings. Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees, band members and/or clients. Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems. Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers. Represents the Fond Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community. Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.
