FS Companies are committed to ensuring the continued profitability for the company, their owners, and their customers, while enacting to help the environment and greater good. * Energy Sales/Delivery/Service Associate* * * * Location – Dexter, MO & SE MO area – Cape Girardeau* * Company – Southern FS Inc.* * Hiring Managers – Mike Barnhart & Tim Fulton* * * * PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT* Under the direction of the Whitewater location manager and the Energy Marketing Leader, responsible for sales, delivery and service-related items of refined fuels, propane and lubricant products in a manner that is safe, efficient, and in a timely in territory stated. * ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Responsible for Energy product sales growth consisting of refined fuels, propane, and lubricants throughout the SE MO territory around Cape Girardeau area. Energy Sales/Delivery/Service Associate may be required to work within various tasks related to the job. Performs service-related propane and refined fuel installation and repairs to ensure customer satisfaction. Replaces outdated propane regulators at customers’ homes or places of business per code. Drives trucks to deliver Propane & Refined fuel to customers’ homes or places of business as needed. Deliver lubricants to customers’ homes or places of business as needed. Prepare service order forms and receive all parts if necessary. Accomplishes the CETP (Certified Employee Training Program) for propane related requirements per code. Handles service complaints promptly. Obtains customer signatures on all service-related items, leases, and leak checks. Completes weekly activity reports. Assist in service income increases for all energy and propane service items. Assist in Agronomy deliveries as needed to help the common goals of the company when specified by the Whitewater location manager. Maintains company equipment according to company standards and performs routine maintenance on the equipment. Adheres to the uniform policy and maintains the appropriate professional image. * OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS* Performs other duties as assigned. * REQUIREMENTS* Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer experience with route delivery and sales experience to demonstrate organization and time management skills. Understanding of energy products along with sales ability, record keeping, and reporting. Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills. Demonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated math skills and the ability to calculate discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, etc. Ability to operate the computer using ticket making software. Demonstrated core competencies including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid CDL license with tank and hazmat classification, be insurable to operate the required vehicle, and have the ability to travel independently. Must pass a pre-hire drug and alcohol test and enroll in a company random drug and alcohol testing program. Must attend CETP training courses and achieve a passing score. FS.
