    Job Description

SENIOR TRANSFORMATION PROJECT MANAGER, Business and Digital Transformation Office (BDTO), to lead strategic transformation initiatives related to ERP projects in close partnership with finance, research, advancement, and IT stakeholders. Will collaborate across MIT as a trusted advisor to develop and oversee project plans and leverage process improvement techniques and technology, and work with BDTO directors to analyze problems and develop solutions.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in a related field; seven years’ relevant project management experience, preferably in higher education; relevant industry-recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP); proven project management experience, including direct and influence leadership of diverse teams across a highly matrixed organization; in-depth knowledge of the core processes and services provided by the finance, advancement, and research functions; experience leading enterprise-wide finance, advancement, and research implementation projects, ideally in large/complex higher education institutions; experience leading transformation and process improvement initiatives, including facilitating stakeholder groups through problem identification, solution development, adoption of best practices, and decision making; experience developing integrated project plans across organizational change management, end-to-end process improvement, technology project management, and data governance-related activities; strong vendor relationship management skills; track record of successfully implementing simultaneous projects of various sizes; and strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems, interpret data, and synthesize complex issues to identify optimal solutions. Must be able to present to and interact and engage with executive-level stakeholders; build trusted relationships and collaborate across diverse teams; communicate thoughts, ideas, and solutions verbally and in writing; organize and prioritize workload; and get up-to-speed quickly on complex issues in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
