Job Description/Duties: Large Multifamily Residential Buildings (2) looking for maintenance technician. Main responsibility will be inspecting apartments that vacate and getting them ready for new move ins. Fast paced, must be driven and organized, be able to work individually or with team. Solution-driven and effective in managing HVAC repairs, plumbing/electrical installations, and general repairs throughout the community. Flexible in your ability to serve on call on a rotational basis any 7 days of the week 52 weeks of the year. Task-oriented and punctual, you\'re comfortable working through day-to-day tasks while meeting required deadlines for reoccurring community needs. Experienced in building maintenance, unit inspections, preventative maintenance, and related trades. Committed to the communitys overall appearance and motivated to ensure that all vacant and occupied apartment homes are held to the Gables Standard. Required Amount of Experience: 1 year Required Skills: Hands On experience with appliances Technical aptitude, understands how to read a manual to trouble shoot and repair mechanical issues. Basic Plumbing Skills. HVAC/Heating systems. Basic carpentry, painting. Common Sense, willing to learn and pride from sense of accomplishment. Basic Computer knowledge, must be able to read, write speak English to communicate with tenants. Full background testing and drug testing is required.
