About This Role:

The Account Manager IV for premier accounts grows, uncovers, and develops opportunities globally within Forrester’s largest accounts. The AM is accountable for achieving specified new business revenue targets within clients while maintaining a relationship with the key stakeholders within the accounts. The individual will be working directly with Forrester’s research leadership and other key resources as necessary to formulate strategy and is rewarded for client retention and enrichment sales.

Job Description:

  • Find and generate new revenue through the sale of Forrester’s data, research, and advisory products.

  • Maintain an appropriate incremental sales pipeline to achieve account renewal and enrichment goals and update/maintain Forrester's sales pipeline system.

  • Expand and develop executive-level client relationships while maintaining quality relationships to retain clients.

  • Leverage existing relationships as references in order to develop and close opportunities in other parts of designated accounts.

  • Use analytical skills to understand our clients’ changing business and technology issues and needs.

  • Work strategically to develop and execute account plans that position Forrester as a strategic resource.

  • Properly position and manage internal resources to align with external opportunities.

  • Communicate professionally to both internal and external audiences.

  • Forecast accurately.

Job Requirements:

  • Five-plus years’ experience managing complex Global 2000 client relationships, over achieving new business revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies.

  • A background in marketing or technology and someone who is comfortable selling to senior marketing, product management and strategy roles.

  • Effective organization and time management skills; impeccable written and phone communication skills.

  • A results-oriented team player.

  • Someone who is conversant in marketing and business technology trends.

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • A fast learner who is at ease with technology.
