LOCATION:                            * High School (1^st^ shift)  & Middle School (2^nd^  shift)                                                       *QUALIFICATIONS:                    1.  High school diploma or equivalent              2.  Evidence of good physical condition 3.  Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities  4.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable   JOB GOAL:                                   To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.                                                                                            PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Keep building and premises, including play areas, neat and clean at all times.
  2. Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are open and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours of building occupancy.
  3. Sweep classrooms regularly and dusts furniture.
  4. Clean corridors after school daily, and during the day, when their condition requires it. 
  5. Maintain floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation.
  6. Scrub, hoses down, and disinfects toilet floors daily, and cleans all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily.
  7. Wash all windows on both the inside and outside at least twice each year, and more frequently if necessary.
  8. Keep the grounds free from rubbish.
  9. Make minor building repairs, as is capable of.
  10. Reports immediately to the Principal, any damage to school property.
  11. Remain on school premises during school hours, and during non-school hours when the use of the building has been authorized and custodial attendance is required.
  12. Responsible for closing the building, securing all doors and windows, and turning off lights where appropriate.
  13. Complies with local laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of trash, rubbish, and waste.
  14. All other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
