We invite you to forge ahead with us.We are seeking a Junior Geotechnical Engineer with experience in geotechnical investigations, analyses, reporting, and construction observation. What You Will Do: * Ensuring a high-quality project is delivered to our clients * Strong commitment to ensuring safe project execution * Projects range from building foundation explorations to transportation projects requiring bridge, slope evaluation/stabilization and retaining wall foundation recommendations and pavement design. * Prepare cost estimate for moderate to complex Geotechnical and Materials Testing projects * Prepare geotechnical reports including maps, drawings, aerial photographs and soil boring logs * Formulate field exploration, sampling, and material testing approach to address specific project issues Competencies: * Honesty and integrity, sense of ownership, collaboration, persistence, pro-activity, organization, and planning are all expectations the person in this role. * Possessing a strong understanding of the construction industry in general, and construction materials testing and special inspection services specifically * Interest in Project management - tracking scope, schedule, quality, and budget * Interest in Business Development - Identifying, attracting, and securing a new, diverse client base What You Will Bring: * Minimum a four-year degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field * 2 - 5 years of experience providing geotechnical engineering services * The successful candidate must possess a valid driver s license along with a clean driving record and can work in a variety of locations. * The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains associated with construction projects is required.
