The Walt Disney Company Trailer Editor (Digital) in Burbank, California

The Hive team manages and develops creative marketing assets in support of Global Theatrical, Disney+, Disney Corporate and the Disney Company at large. The Hive falls under Theatrical Marketing and Distribution and collaborates with all other creative partners across the Studio and Company.

The Hive is seeking a Trailer Editor (Digital) to be responsible for the ideation and creation of digital/social spots for multiple campaigns, and should be experienced in the digital creative advertising process. The Editor would provide creative editorial for digital campaigns across all social platforms and help identify the best systems, methods, needed to get the work done. Other duties may include tracking and updating project information on project management platforms, creating timelines, budget awareness, participating in photo and video shoots, all while being committed to excellence in the digital advertising space.

*Please note - This is an IATSE Local 700 position covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities:

  • The Trailer Editor (Digital) collaborates with the creative team to create, implement and execute creative strategy and social marketing campaign

  • Create compelling content, managing the balance of “pushing the envelope” with feasibility during the ideation and planning stage

  • Manage production, editing and finishing of creative assets

  • Generate bespoke graphics singularly or in collaboration with the graphics team

  • Participate and/or lead project kickoffs and brainstorms

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and creative team

  • Collaborates effectively with other Producers, Editors and Creative Directors, balancing bandwidth and project timelines.

  • Manage project hours and revisions in order to stay within scope of the budget

  • QC all deliverables

  • Perform other Digital Trailer Editor related duties as assigned by management

  • Thrives in high pressure, fast-paced, quickly evolving environment

  • Juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications :

  • At least 3+ years of Digital Agency Editorial experience

  • Must have strong portfolio of current digital work for Tik Tok, Instagram, Snapchat or other social platforms

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects)

  • Experience working as a Digital creative and with Digital creatives

  • Expertise in strategizing and leading advertising campaigns

  • Experience interacting with stakeholders to execute campaigns, creative vision, and innovate in the Digital Marketing space

  • Accustomed to working with and understanding the needs of both internal and external stakeholders

  • Expertise and knowledge of the various types of social platforms, media production, and editing

  • Effective presentation and pitch-deck skills

  • Knowledge of or ability to learn AirTable, additional delivery systems for viewing creative.

Preferred :

  • 5+ years of expertise in creating promotional content on social platforms within theatrical and streaming

The pay rate for this role in Burbank, CA is $57.02 per hour. This is a full-time position with guaranteed five hours of overtime per week.
