Position Summary:

The position is responsible for supporting project objectives of grants led by the Institute on Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care (https://socialwork.buffalo.edu/social-research/institutes-centers/institute-on-trauma-and-trauma-informed-care.html) as part of the School of Social Work and Buffalo Center for Social Research.

As a Project Manager you will:

  • ensure that project objectives remain consistent with the specified requirements and goals of the project, and that they are achieved on schedule and within budget.

  • deliver trauma-informed training curriculum, as well as project-related administrative and evaluation/progress monitoring responsibilities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, administrative and organizational skills and have the ability to work both independently and with partners throughout NYS .

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree;

  • Three years previous experience using trauma-informed practices;

  • Previous experience developing and implementing trauma-informed training curriculum;

  • Previous experience monitoring indicators and creating project reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree;

  • Project/grant coordination experience;

  • Experience in trauma-informed training,

  • Coaching and consulting;

  • Experience delivering trauma-informed parenting curriculum;

  • Experience with UB Business offices and systems.
