ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughs. Serve as a functional HSE expert, providing Environmental & Safety leadership and technical support to the facility. Work within robust operating and management systems to reduce risk. Strengthen systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and Honeywell requirements. Partner with business leaders and employees to continuously improve HSE culture, awareness, and accountability in support of business objectives.

The salary range for this position is ($57,500 – $71,900). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Implementation, monitoring, and supporting plant HSE programs/policies to ensure compliance with applicable HSE standards and regulations.

▪ Conduct HSE field assessments and audits

▪ Collect environmental and industrial hygiene samples and data in a variety of media or manage contractors

▪ Support the plant in regulated waste management activities

▪ Coach supervisors and employees on HSE related issues

▪ Influence plant personnel to improve HSE standards through use of accountability, standard work, GEMBAs, and visual management.

▪ Support new hire orientation

▪ Demonstrate teamwork and ownership of all HSE issues

▪ Be a champion for HSE improvement projects, drive implementation

YOU MUST HAVE

▪ High school diploma or GED required

▪ Minimum of 2 years chemical/manufacturing/ laboratory work experience

▪ Some college in science or technical curriculum

▪ Problem solving skills

WE VALUE

▪ Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree in science related field

▪ Minimum of 3-5 years chemical or manufacturing HSE experience
