Cassia Care Attendant in Buffalo, Minnesota

Park View Assisted Living is hiring dependable, compassionate Part-Time & Full-Time Care Attendants to join our team. In addition to generous benefits, we're offering up to a $1000 Bonus! 

In this role, you will help maintain the highest standards in delivering nursing services to our residents. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others. 

There are Part-Time positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend as well as a combination of 8 hour and 12 hour shifts.  There are also Full-Time positions available working 12 hour shifts during the week and working every other Friday through Sunday. This position also works every other holiday. Employees get a food discount of $5 per meal during their shift.

Hours:

Day: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm or 6:30 am to 2:30 pm

Evening: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm or 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm

Part-Time will be eligible for a $500 Bonus

Full-Time will be eligible for a $1,000 Bonus

    What are Care Attendant responsibilities?

  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.

  • Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.

  • Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.

  • Document services performed on computerized charting system.

  • Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.

  • Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, and medication administration.

  • Complete light housekeeping duties.

  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

    What does a Care Attendant require?

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.

  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.

  • Previous care experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
