Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Editor/Graphic Designer to join our team at ICF Next. This hybrid role involves both web content management and graphic design responsibilities, ensuring that our website is not only rich in engaging content but also visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and editing for the web, as well as expertise in graphic design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Management:

  • Write, edit, and proofread website content including articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and other online material.

  • Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and SEO-friendly.

  • Collaborate with team members to create compelling and cohesive web pages.

  • Graphic Design:

  • Design and create graphics for web pages, including banners, images, icons, infographics, and other visual elements.

  • Ensure all graphics are aligned with the brand’s visual identity and enhance the user experience.

  • Work with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent graphic design software.

  • SEO and Web Analytics:

  • Implement and manage SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.

  • Use web analytics tools to monitor performance, analyze user behavior, and make data-driven decisions to optimize content.

  • Content Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute content strategies that align with the company's goals and target audience.

  • Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely publication and consistency.

  • Content and Design Optimization:

  • Regularly review and update existing web content and design elements to maintain relevance and accuracy.

  • Optimize content for readability and engagement, incorporating multimedia elements where appropriate.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all web content and designs adhere to company style guides and brand standards.

  • Conduct regular audits of the website to identify and rectify any content or design issues.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with IT, marketing, and design teams to ensure content and graphics are effectively integrated and presented on the website.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content development and design improvements.

Requirements:

  • Skills:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong understanding of web content best practices, UX principles, and visual design.

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
