Wavelynx Manufacturing Engineer in Broomfield, Colorado

Wavelynx Technologies is a leading company in the access control industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge electronics for credentialing and access control. We seek a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will oversee the design of production machinery and identify and recommend solutions to production problems related to materials, processes, and toolings.

This is a Monday through Friday role, 100% onsite at our facilities in Broomfield, CO.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide overall technical direction for manufacturing processes in a manufacturing area as well as direction of cross-functional manufacturing issues.

Participate as needed in cross-functional product design teams, providing product and process design expertise necessary to ensure manufacturability.

Work with Tool Designers and Designers/Drafters to define tooling and fixturing requirements and initiate tooling improvement projects.

Assist with the maintenance / calibration / and repairs of all manufacturing fixtures and machines.

Initiate and implement system improvements for all stages of the manufacturing process.

Managing Compliance with the QMS Document Specifications.

Maintain and Expand Quality Control Systems.

Maintains ISO 9001 compliance.

Provide support to manufacturing with front-end software.

Skills and Qualifications

B.S. preferred in Engineering

Background in manufacturing processes

Proven track record of design and process improvements

Familiarity with PPAP

Familiarity in implementing 5S

Familiarity with Linux OS

Familiarity with basic circuits

Hands-on approach to problem-solving

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and kneeling.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.

Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.

This position's salary range is $60-70k per year, depending on experience.
