The role

Manages assigned customer projects for pharmaceutical products to be distributed for clinical trials and works diligently to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, budget, and in accordance with customer expectations.

Hybrid work option available after six weeks of employment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Primary customer contact for distribution activities, including business, relationship and customer expectation management matters.

  • Oversee the logistics Management of customer’s specific studies.

  • Interacts with customers, vendors, and internal PCI colleagues to deliver service excellence and ensure performance expectations are met or exceeded on a consistent basis.

  • Coordinates end to end processes including project set up, receipt, storage, quality release and distribution activities. Upon completion of the study, coordinating returns and destruction activities. Facilitates the billing of all activities conducted on the study.

  • Coordinates and hosts customer visits and facilitates activities as per customer needs.

  • Reviews quotes to ensure scope is appropriate. Initiates change orders where necessary. Monitors project budget and scope creep.

  • Coach, mentor, and supervise the Associate Clinical Project Managers

  • Provide the client with the highest level of professionalism, quality of work, communication/responsiveness, and status of deliverables.

Requirements

  • You will have project management experience and be accustomed to managing an extensive portfolio of external contacts on a professional level including face to face.

  • Thorough knowledge of logistics processes including import and export.

  • Good business IT skills, knowledge of excel is beneficial.

  • Knowledge of cGMP, and GCP and rules (desirable).

  • You will ideally have worked in a pharmaceutical business however, we invite applications from candidates who have worked in the medical device industry, food manufacturing and logistics.
