Thousand Hills Management Co Overnight Security and Maintenance Tech (Part Time) in Branson, Missouri

Part Time Branson, MO, US Salary Range:$17.00 To 19.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant individual to join our Thousand Hills Resort Hotel team as an Overnight Security Guard/Maintenance Technician. In this dual role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises during nighttime hours, while also addressing basic maintenance tasks as needed. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and integrity.

Responsibilities:

Security Duties:

  • Conduct regular security checks of the premises to detect and deter any unauthorized individuals or activities.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats promptly.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms or disturbances, and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain a visible and reassuring presence to deter criminal activity.

Maintenance Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, repairing doors or windows, and addressing minor plumbing issues across multiple locations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and report any maintenance needs.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the premises.

Communication:

  • Effectively communicate with the daytime staff to provide updates on overnight activities and report any incidents or issues.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Documentation/Requirements:

  • Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents, maintenance activities, and any interactions during the shift.
  • Complete incident reports and submit them to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a security guard and/or maintenance technician.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures.
  • Basic handyman skills for addressing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record (must not be expired or suspended)
  • Ability to drive personal vehicle to various locations/between properties.
  • Must participate in Safety Training exercises.

Working Hours:

Overnight shifts, typically starting in the evening and concluding in the morning. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays may be required.
