Job Description: Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the nightly rental units and the appearance and working order of the resort. Each maintenance team-member must be able to work independently, as well as with others. Responsibilities may also include maintaining all equipment in guest rooms, plus conducting and working with vendors. Maintenance staff must be willing to respond to emergencies during normal working hours and after hours. This position requires overall maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting with skills in painting, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical equipment and tool usage.

Skills and Qualifications: Maintenance Technician team members arrange for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tasks to be completed. Effective maintenance team members should have basic mechanical ability such as understanding how tools and in-unit equipment works. Will also have the ability to determine whether the property in question can be repaired or replaced.

  • Lifting up to 30 pounds
  • Pushing / Pulling up to 10 pounds
  • Use of arms / hands in manual dexterity functions to operate maintenance equipment.
  • Standing 6+ hour periods of time during a work shift
  • Bending and Stooping
  • Must have a Valid Class F Driver License and a clean driving record.
  • Must have flexible schedule with ability to workdays, evenings and weekends.
  • Must participate in Safety Training exercises.
