Aston Carter Manufacturing Systems Planner in Bothell, Washington

One of the most innovating and fast-growing Quantum Computing company is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Planner. The role of the Manufacturing Systems Planner is to ensure on time part delivery to the manufacturing floor. This role reports through the Materials Management organization who oversees the planning for manufacturing, from time of purchase request placement to part delivery to the manufacturing floor.

Pay: $45/hr. - $55/hr. (Depending on relevant job title, tenure, industry...etc.)

Location: Bothell, WA (Monday - Friday 100% Onsite but occasional work from home on Fridays)

Shift: Standard Morning Shift (Monday - Friday)

6 Month Contract To Start

(Key responsibilities)

• Identify critical path shortages and work cross functionally to drive gating issues to closure, including communicating with key suppliers on urgent deliveries and other Material Planners on items they are managing

• Use pegging reports to analyze the relationship between demand and supply of materials, identify any discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner

• Interpret Bill of Material (BOM) changes, assess the impact on manufacturing, identifying and mitigating items misaligned to production needs

• Interpret signals from Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) to analyze and drive to action required to meet manufacturing build schedule

(Job Requirements)

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment

• Experience performing tactical planning in a manufacturing environment

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong drive for results

• Strong understanding of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)

• Strong data entry and analytical skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment

• Experience obtaining and negotiating quotes from vendors (highly preferred)

• Experience with PLM (highly preferred)

• Experience with data entry into ERP (NetSuite preferred) - (highly preferred)

• Strong business acumen in regards to planning, procurement, inventory management, and operations (highly preferred)

Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
