Looking for your next exciting Mechanic position? Wolter Inc., is looking for a Shop Technician to join our team! This position based out of our Bolingbrook, IL facility and will be responsible for supporting our Service Department.

A Shop Technician will be responsible for the following:

  • Complete all service jobs assigned to you
  • Document all recommended additional repairs found and work with the Shop Foreman on preparing a quote for the customer
  • Attend training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products or refresher courses on products as required
  • Offer assistance to other shop techs as appropriate
  • Keep the shop clean and organized in adherence to safety rules at all time.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Must have very good skills in repairing powered industrial equipment, with a minimum of two (2) years experience repairing fork lift trucks and/or other products we represent, to include all types of LP Gas, diesel, and electric trucks.
  • Basic computer proficiency and laptop fundamentals.
  • Must own tools necessary to perform repairs, per our recommended tool list.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
