*Job Title: Grain Superintendent *Reports To: Location Manager

**Summary To help with all aspects of the location in a manner that will optimize StateLine's efficiency and help achieve the cooperative's mission and goals and result in outstanding customer service

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Grain Duties and Responsibilities: The position will be directly responsible for all aspects of the grain division at the location including but not limited to the following:

  • Receiving and loading grain
  • Operating and maintaining the grain dryer
  • Keep accurate records of grain inventories
  • Make sure facility is in compliance of OSHA's housekeeping requirements at all times.
  • Fill out all repaired paperwork and permits for all activities that require such documentation prior

to performing those duties.

  • Inform Location Manager of any problems or potential problems with the facility or grain

inventories.

Maintenance, Operations and Safety Duties: Maintenance and safety involves maintaining equipment and facilities. Keeping safety at the forefront of all activities and following all regulations.

  • Keep inside and outside of facilities clean and tidy
  • Keep grounds mowed and well maintained.
  • Maintain equipment on a regular schedule to avoid breakdowns and anticipate and plan for major

overhauls.

Receive grain and other inventory, store it, and keep it saleable.
