Are you ready to take charge of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Line Owner.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing and packing operations in the dry plant. You will work closely with shift managers to train and develop operators, ensuring they possess the necessary technical skills to excel in their roles.

Your expertise in project management will be crucial as you implement methods to improve the overall efficiency of our production site. You will be at the forefront of driving continuous improvement initiatives, aligning with Nestle's business principles, and implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices. This role is based in Blayney.

Key Outputs / Deliverables

  • Drive improvement plan for the area, including completing LTA on a quarterly basis and prioritizing projects.

  • Scope improvement projects to achieve site OMP targets, such as unplanned and planned stoppages reductions as well as loss reduction.

  • Ensure system health of SAP master data for plant performance

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop and implement safety and quality improvement plans

  • Lead key projects with Work Groups and Shift Managers to achieve desired results

  • Ensure Area Transformation is achieved through TPM step assessments and coordination between shifts.

  • Own line standards, routines, and procedures within the work area.

  • Drive continuous improvement of already implemented standards and ensure SOPs are up to date

  • Implement digital training tools and conduct daily coaching with operators

  • Develop operator training program and ensure consistency in results

  • Maximize customer centricity in manufacturing approach through planning decisions and problem-solving activities

  • Lead short interval control routines and work with Data Analyst team to understand attainment gaps.

  • Coach operators and shift managers on compliance to factory masterplan routines and increase factory hygiene through planning opportunities with labour skills.

Skills and Experiences

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills in a high-performing team environment.

  • Proven ability to drive cultural change and work effectively with operators.

  • Understanding of the connection between line standards and factory performance.

  • Skilled in leading and managing change through organizational design and business transformation techniques. Experience in industrial and employee/labour relations.

  • Effective influencing and coaching of leaders.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading people and projects.

  • Well-rounded business acumen through diverse experiences supporting different parts of the business.

  • People management experience will be highly regarded
