SCHOOL DISTRICT 2 CUSTODIAN I / II - PARKING LOT ATTENDANT in BILLINGS, Montana

Billings School District 2 is seeking a Parking Lot Attendant - Custodian I/II for Senior High School for the 2024-2025 School Year. 9-month position; 8 hours per day (4 hours per day as Parking Lot Attendant, 4 hours per day as Custodian I/II); Monday-Friday. - Parking Lot Attendant, $14.09 per hour for 120-day probationary period, then $15.66 per hour. - Custodian I, $16.36 per hour for 120-day probationary period, then $18.18 per hour. - Custodian II (requires a Boiler License), $16.51 per hour for 120-day probationary period, then $18.35 per hour Parking Lot Attendant Duties: - Patrol, monitor, assist and direct staff, students and visitors in parking areas around the building - Move throughout the parking areas to prevent conflict situations - Notify administration of any concern regarding safety of staff, students and visitors Custodian I/II Duties: - Perform custodial work as requested by head custodian and/or administrator - Perform moderate physical activity - Operate cleaning equipment - Maintain effective work relationships Requirements: - High School graduate or equivalent required. - Requires special knowledge, skills and abilities in communication - Requires a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies. - Must be able to perform moderate physical activity and operate cleaning equipment. - Must be able to maintain effective work relationships. - Minimum of one year in appropriate custodian work preferred. - Pre-employment physicals are required for this position and paid for by the District.
