Job Description:

Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool - 24-40 hours. Weekends, evenings, or night shift. New Graduates eligible. Acute Care Emergency eligible.

      As an RN in the Float Pool at Beverly Hospital, you will float to areas where extra coverage is needed to care for med/surg inpatients. As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following: Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes.

RN New Graduates eligible :The orientation period is specific to the orientee with the average orientation being approximately a 12- week residency program. You will be supported heavily by an assigned preceptor for your orientation duration. Large variety of classes focused on building common skills and reflection throughout orientation. The clinical educator will support you through the entirety of your orientation period and beyond. Great opportunities to see various units and build skills through education and experience!

ACE(Acute care to Emergency) eligible : A pathway plan to build RN's essential nursing skills in med/surg/tele as an integral part of the inpatient team with the ability to transition those skills to the ED at 1 year.

Education and Experience requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

· Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required

· Basic Life Support (BLS) required

· ACLS preferred

  • Plenty of flexibility & opportunities! work 24, 32, 36 or 40 hours a week, both evening and night shifts available. Weekends are either every FOURTH or if you want to work every weekend and be part of the Weekend Stipend program with great stipend pay.
