The Retail Service Specialist provides excellent customer service to everyone they encounter - Other Goodwill team members, customers, and donors. This position is active and has a variety of responsibilities, so the day goes quickly for our retail team. Our associates will assist customers and cashier at checkout with sales, price and stock merchandise, process donations to meet production goals for the sales floor or our warehouse and assist with keeping the store clean and organized.

Position Requirements:

  • Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, though the average weight of donation processing is 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, push, pull, and stand.
  • Retail experience is preferred but not required.
  • Successful completion of the background screening (sex offender registry)
  • Up to 6% employer contributions to retirement after one year

The Retail Service Specialist position has a starting wage of $14.19 per hour, plus incentive pay based on the store's performance. The schedule for this position rotates between afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This position is required to work at least 3 weekends per month.Candidates must have availability for a flexible schedule.
