Newly Weds Foods Janitor/Sanitation - Third Shift in BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania
This is a third shift position - 10 hour shift.
Essential Duties:
Cleans and maintains building and facilities. May be expected to make basic repairs as assigned by management. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 2 plus years of experience in the field or in a related area. Maintains all known GMP's and safety standards. Has general knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within our manufacturing facility. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the necessary functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require independent judgment. Must inform supervisor of any deviation to known practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- maintain clean and safe employee locker rooms, break room and bathrooms
- independently maintain clean and safe work environment of trash removal, pallets, drains, racks and tables from assigned production areas
- outside work as assigned and communicated/approved by immediate supervisor
- make requests for and maintain appropriate cleaning supplies as they pertain to your assigned work
back up PM custodian with cleaning
