Philips Software Development Engineer in Best, Netherlands

Job title:

Utilize your skills to develop on imaging mechatronics software solutions for cardiovascular x-ray systems to support interventional cardiac and vascular medical procedures.

In this role, you can grow to the role of Technical Lead for one of the Software teams within the Positioning Software department.

Your role:

  • You design, implement software and influence design specification using latest software technologies and resources.

  • An international and diverse group of around 33 highly skilled colleagues who work in an agile quality oriented approach on various projects. We collaborate closely with the mechanic-, electronic-, software-groups and the cluster of system design, to come to our final system architecture & implementation. To make sure we add value to our customers by having a close collaboration with the application specialists who voice our customer’s needs.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a C++ (v11) software engineer for real-time performance software product with e xperience to "lead", influence or guide team members and (sub) teams.

  • You are skilled in working with a very large codebase (new and legacy code) that will need new features added or embedded in existing code, updates, (bug)fixing, improvements, dedication to unit testing, code review and other quality-oriented practices;

  • You have obtained a MSc degree in electrical engineering, computer science (or equivalent)

  • You’ll get bonus points for:, experience with modelling techniques (such as Coco, Dezyne, RASCAL, & DSL), experience in a mechatronics environment,eExperience in a regulated environmen
