Need 7 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Chippewa, Swift, Kandiyohi counties in Minnesota. From: 04/02/2024 - 01/10/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.- Sat. 8 hrs./day. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on the weekend, a worker s Sabbath or federal holidays. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time. Employer will pay a salary of $888.00 per week. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the current MN AEWR in effect. In MN the AEWR is currently $18.50/hour. Must Apply By: 08/10/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Workers will perform general farm operations and tasks like, but not limited to- drive and operate farm machinery to prepare ground, plant, harvest and store crops. Use planting equipment such as a John Deere DB60, 36 row planters, and a John Deere DB80, 48 row planters. Cultivate with equipment such as a John Deere 2210 cultivator. Drive tractors such as John Deere 7610, 2940, 4440, 4850, 8520T, 9320T, 9520T, 9620, 9430, and 9630 to pull, operate and move other farm equipment. Attach farm implements; such as a John Deere 3710 or 3700 plow, John Deere 635 disc or 637 disc, and a John Deere 455 front fold 30 drill to a tractor. Tow harvesting equipment such as John Deere 640FD and 645FD bean head, John Deere 612C and 718C corn head. Drive and operate self-propelled combine such as John Deere S780 and 9870. Operate grain carts such as Brent 1082 and 1394 grain cart. Maintain structures and equipment. Perform a variety of maintenance duties such as lubricating and repairing farm machinery and trucks. Move farm machinery and equipment to and from multiple locations and fields during planting and harvesting season. Assist with transporting water to the fields during spraying season with a water truck. Drive truck to haul crops, supplies and tools. Spray crops with sprayers such as John Deere 4930 and 8520T, 3-point sprayer. Transportation provided to jobsite from central location. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience in Ag/Farm and Ag Equipment use; able to lift and carry 60 lbs. frequently; able to perform work requiring exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. May be required to take post hire random drug and/or alcohol tests, at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Transportation provided to jobsite from central location. Required, work-related supplies and tools provided free of charge by employer.
