Quiddity Communications Manager in Bellaire, Texas

The position plays a key role in the company's Communications efforts, working closely with Quiddity’s Director of Communications and in concert with the company’s Senior Leadership Team, Marketing, and Business Development professionals. You will get to work both independently and collaboratively in working to create high-quality marketing materials, including proposals, qualification packages, collateral, and other submittals. Position Description:

  • Work with internal teams and external partners to develop winning content and create high-quality proposals and qualification packages.

  • Manage the proposal development process from beginning to end, specifically tailoring materials per each RFP/RFQ's requirements.

  • Knowledgeable and well-versed in executing Texas Department of Transportation pursuits, including forms. Knowledgeable in executing pursuits for municipalities that include SF 330s, etc.

  • Work extensively with technical staff and Marketing to meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review and approval, entering and monitoring data, coordinating requirements with contributors, communicating proposal status information at review meetings, and more.

  • Help identify and track new business opportunities.

  • Writing and editing technical content.

  • Assist in the preparation of short-list interview presentations.

  • Coordinate the maintenance of various marketing databases and collateral (Clients/Contacts, Projects and Resumes) including updating of content, etc.

  • Meeting coordination with all applicable attendees during each phase of proposals.

  • Assist in the development of win themes.

  • Assist with day-to-day Communications taskings as assigned by Comms Director and members of Quiddity’s Senior Leadership Team

Requirements

  • This position is ideal for individuals with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

  • Professional experience of 10 years or more.

  • Graphic Design and Desktop Publishing Skills - experience in Adobe In Design, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator preferred.

  • Knowledge of the A/E/C industry preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills – a great eye for detail.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • The ability to work under pressure, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with management, staff, and external contacts.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
