The Test Development Engineering team is responsible for developing the production test strategy, test equipment, test software, and procedures for new product introductions. We are looking for a Test Development Engineer responsible for the following:

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Develop a profile of semiconductor chips using Vision software

  • Verify the design of the device profile

  • Monitor the performance of the Vision profile in production

  • Manage field escalation and implement continuous improvement of Vision profile

  • Be an active member of the extended design team by providing information and ideas on optimum test strategies for new products.

  • Develop test processes for new products including the test strategy, interface design, ATE, test software, fixturing, software tools, documentation, training, and process control capabilities.

  • Integrate new processes into production. Serve as a technical resource for factory operations.

  • Investigate and develop more efficient test processes utilizing metrics to indicate results. Go beyond individual defect investigation & characterization to understanding defect trends in order to influence testing directions.

    Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

  • A Bachelors Degree graduate in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics , Electromechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • Basic programming skills in C# or other languages.

  • Good understanding in electrical and electronic fundamentals.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Has good oral communication skills.

  • Can work with less supervision.

  • Result oriented and can do work attitude.
