PRIME AE Group, Inc. (www.primeeng.com), a multi-faceted and rapidly growing architectural and engineering firm with 20 office locations and 475+ employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast and Northeast areas, is seeking a Senior Project Architect - Project Manager for our Baltimore, MD office, (but can work out of our Akron, Columbus, Pensacola or Jacksonville offices). Position Overview: The project focus will be government facilities / buildings, large commercial / hospitality, healthcare, education and possibly Dept. of Defense / DoD / Military. Primary Responsibilities: Develop design and construction documents, develop studies and reports, field assessments, and other deliverables for projects from concept through construction administration. Collaboration with PRIME AE's inter-office divisions - MEP, Structural Engineering, Building Envelope - as well as external subconsultants. Plans and supervises the preparation of construction documents and other deliverables for projects according to client goals, needs, schedules and budgets. Responsible for coordination of design disciplines, both in-house and outside consultants. Conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with Detailed Design Documents. May prepare client project presentations, studies, and reports. Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans - specifically Revit and AutoCAD. May direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase and/or the Detailed Design Phase(s) of a project. Organize, schedule, and monitor Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) process for milestone deliverables. Minimum Experience: Registered Architect. LEED Accredited Professional strongly preferred. Experienced in all phases of project design, construction documentation and construction materials. Strong interpersonal skills, verbal, listening and written communication, including client presentations. Experience with coordination of multiple design disciples required for developing complete documents. Proficient in Revit. Strong knowledge base of building codes, standards, building structures, and engineering systems. Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. Experience with reviewing project documentation and QA/QC.
