CHIEF BANKING OFFICER - As a senior executive with a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in commercial banking, you will:

  • Works collaboratively with other senior leaders to establish strategic direction, manage risk, and deliver long term value to customers, staff, community and shareholders;

  • Maximize loan and commercial deposit growth through effective planning, development, and implementation of growth strategies that factor in portfolio mix and market penetration objectives;

  • Develop and oversee the teams in commercial banking, residential lending, and treasury management in support of Company's long term objectives. Foster a culture of innovation, performance, and accountability, focusing on growth and exceptional customer experience;

  • Establish annual loan and deposit growth goals to drive business and consistently exceed strategic performance expectations;

  • Establish relationships with key commercial customers to continually expand relationships and drive portfolio growth. Find solutions to complex issues or concerns;

  • Develop and implement products and services to meet the unique needs of commercial banking customers;

  • Assist in the early identification of developing credit weakness and in the successful management of problem loans;

  • Provide oversight of the customer experience to maximize effectiveness and achieve the highest levels of service and support;

  • Oversee loan and commercial deposit product pricing, structure and features. Member of the Bank's ALCO Committee. Analyze financial and local market trends and conditions to ensure products are properly priced and positioned to achieve growth, profitability and service goals.

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CHIEF BANKING OFFICER

  • Executive level commercial-lending leadership experience required, coupled with demonstrated knowledge of residential lending and treasury management.

  • Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in commercial banking with Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead customer focused sales teams with record of success in developing new business.

  • Strong understanding of asset liability management priorities and experience pricing and positioning commercial deposit products and services.

  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills coupled with ability to set and effectively manage priorities.
