Duties : Design and develop resilient and performant APIs of Schwab.com as a part of Retail Web Technology (RWT) team. Strong DevOps focus to ensure availability, reliability, security and performance of Schwab systems and services for clients. Prioritize the execution of the quarterly DSS/Search/MoveMoney Platform Health initiatives, to ensure the health of Schwab systems and the necessary enhancements are. Production Support contributions in support of Schwab clients to ensure availability targets of 99.9% uptime are met. Build/Maintain RunBook, artifacts utilizing the common CET Confluence template for all RWT applications/components. Ensuring apps follow web accessibility standards and overall best coding practices. Delivery of features/capabilities meeting the customer/business demands on both time-to-market and quality. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Austin, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $140,133 to $160,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s related experience, or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 3 years of related experience. Must include some experience in each of the following skills: Microsoft Technologies - C#/.NET Development, Angular, JavaScript, and MV/MVC/MVVM patterns; Unit testing patterns (TDD/BDD) and methodologies (Jasmine and MSUnit); Responsive design, single page applications; creating and consuming RESTful services; Application performance evaluation and tuning; Database development and maintenance in base requirement (SQL Server or Oracle; and Mongo DB); Authorization frameworks (OAuth 2, SAML, and JWT); and Distributed multi-tier applications and Client server application architecture.
