Overview

$13.50 an hour/ Weekly Pay

BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the airport in which they work by performing various cleaning duties. Cleaners must secure the necessary tools to perform their task at the beginning of their shift. Duties and hours may vary depending on the assigned area and the number of teammates working with. A cleaner may be responsible for any or all the following tasks. Tasks may also change throughout an employee’s employment. Safety is your priority.

Restrooms - Cleans and sanitizes sinks, countertops, toilets, stalls, mirrors, floors, fixtures, fittings, etc. Replenish bathroom supplies tissue, soap, and hand towels as needed. Empty wastebaskets and sanitary bins replace trash liners.

Floors - Sweeps, mops, floors using brooms, mops, and if applicable, vacuum cleaners.

Trash – Empty wastebaskets and sanitary bins replace trash liners.

Spills – Place spill tent. Clean spills immediately.

Curb - Sweep and maintain outside areas such as the curb, empty ashtrays, and trashcans as needed.

Other Duties – not all duties are inclusive, and other duties may be assigned as needed or if the employer and or client assign a particular project.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand; Climb; Bend forward; Kneel; during their assigned shift. Ability to lift, carry, push/pull and transport 5+ pounds at least 75% of the shift to complete physical tasks related to responsibilities.
