What is the Job?

As the Administrative Assistant supporting two departments at Colorado Gives Foundation, you'll gain broad operational knowledge, interact with donors and nonprofits, and contribute to fundraising efforts, making a community impact. Successful candidates possess a keen attention to detail, adeptness in catching errors, and the ability to enhance message clarity. You excel in organizing departments and preparing for meetings, with a knack for anticipating needs. If you thrive behind the scenes, ensuring smooth operations and meeting deadlines, this role may be perfect for you!

To succeed, you should have:

A High School diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum of 1 year in customer service, administrative roles, or teamwork required. Must possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and adherence to deadlines. Ability to anticipate needs and adeptly handle changing priorities and multiple demands in tight timeframes. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Your essential duties and responsibilities as the Administrative Assistant will include:

Support event planning, logistics, and execution.

Assist with webinar facilitation.

Manage meeting schedules, agendas, tech setup, notes, and contacts.

Draft, proofread, and send various communications.

Handle expense reports and budget tracking.

Organize both physical and digital files.

Manage incoming calls, inquiries, and visitor assistance.

Arrange travel and accommodations for department heads.

Proactively anticipate departmental needs.

Coordinate special projects and other administrative tasks.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
