Amazon Business is seeking an enthusiastic and versatile designer to contribute to a rapidly expanding brand. The candidate will be instrumental in delivering top-tier creativity media and design assets across a variety of communications, event and employee engagement channels.

This designer will assume the responsibility of creative content for the leadership and events content across Amazon Business. This designer will execute digital creatives for internal employee engagement, events production, video content, websites, and email campaigns. We are looking for someone who can also invent creatives across various placements with excellence. The designer will serve as a pivotal figure in upholding the integrity of the brand across sales channel content. They will also employ essential practices of art direction to tailor the brand assets for the various business units.

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced brand designer who can adapt master creatives with speed and the same time understands the significance of building adaptable design systems at scale for to reduce media and production complexity. Expert in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Microsoft productivity software and other collaborative online tools is a must. InDesign is nice to have. A portfolio or design samples will be required to demonstrate capabilities.

This designer will be digitally savvy and adept at adjusting swiftly to change, working in highly visibility environments, approaching challenges with a problem-solving mindset. The preferred candidate will be a flexible collaborator, proficient in implementing creative best practices, taking feedback and adjusting quickly and providing sound advice and guidance for the best production outcomes.

Key job responsibilities

• Create digital design solutions that meet business goals and project requirements using Photoshop, Illustrator and on occasion InDesign.

• Create best in class arts and design templates optimized for web, mobile and other devices.

• Leverage creative best practices to optimize user experience and drive performance of key sales enablement initiatives.

• Follow and apply design templates alongside global style guides adapting to business and event nuances.

• Ensure design requirements are met in adherence with event and project timeframes.

• Lead artwork review and production quality control.

• Partner with enablement/marketing/business teams to ensure designs meet brand/business objects and manage project timeframes.

• Illustrate a command of design methods, tools, communication, and presentation skills.

• Present work to team and key stakeholders for review, feedback, and approval.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Visual Communications, or related field

  • 5+ years of professional experience in each of the following areas:

Graphic or Visual Design

Exemplified mastery of Adobe Creative Suite – including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator and photo editing and retouching.

Implementing design across brand and digital including email, social, mobile, desktop, app, and web for an established brand.

Managing multiple design projects, requests, and scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborating with creative and technical teams.

Responsive design and applied knowledge of accessibility best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An exemplified mastery of the principals of design, color theory, typography, and graphics file creation optimized for media, digital and print.

  • Ability to problem solve, support, and collaborate with other team members effectively.

  • Unwavering attention to detail and an acute awareness that every detail counts.

  • Experience in product render and lifestyle design a plus

  • Illustration and motion design experience beneficial.

  • Video production and editing.

  • Demonstrated business acumen and customer-centricity.

  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently.
