Sr. Product Service Specialist Locations: Arden Hills, MN and Marlborough, MA About the Role: At Boston Scientific, the Senior Product Service Specialist will provide service support and leadership for Boston Scientific capital equipment offerings and associated support infrastructure. Interface with product design, product manufacturing, and marketing groups both internal and external to the company to assure product supportability, serviceability, and reliability. As the subject matter expert, aid Capital Equipment process owners in the development of programs that are global in nature and meet the requirements of the project. Develop and implement end of life programs for Boston Scientific capital equipment. Provide project management leadership to establish and implement service support infrastructure for new and updated capital equipment offering. Your Responsibilities Include: Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of the incumbent's work and by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements (including but not limited to being current on all training requirements for the incumbent's position and documenting that training). Project core team member representing service for assigned products. Interface with design engineers to identify and implement problem resolution. Provide product servicing requirements analysis for design input. Assure the design for service - Field and depot serviceability and repairability. Develop and implement service plan and requirements documentation. Manage escalation and resolution of extremely complex and unique field issues. Provide support for product changes throughout product life cycle. Working with a cross function team, support the development of: Training requirements, documentation, and support processes; Training assistance and delivery; Field service support documentation; Service tools for in-house and field-basedsupport; Technical Support requirements, tools, and training; Call Center processes and information systems; Processes and designs for the proposed service models. What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent. 5+Years experience with a bachelor's degree or 3+years with a master's degree Technical service experience supporting Capital Equipment or Capital Equipment Engineering and R&D. Project Management experience. Experience successfully driving process and improvements. Must be willing to travel in US and OUS 10-20% of the time. Preferred Qualifications: Field engineering experience. Formal training in Six Sigma, LEAN and Project Management is an advantage. Technical Service experience supporting Capital Equipment in the Medical Device industry.
