We are a great place to work, and we want you to be a part of the team! As a result of our growth, Horizon Commercial Pools is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this newly created Senior Accountant position will assist in the preparation of financial reports to track the organization s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities and other related financial activities. Key Responsibilities: Perform general accounting and other related duties. Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations. Prepare journal entries. Perform credit card maintenance activities, including spend monitoring. Active participant in positive pay controls. Reconcile customer accounts and manage accounts receivable collection efforts. Provide outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit. FP&A support activities. Sales tax filings and related activities.
