The Global Supply Chain Planning Director is responsible for worldwide inventory and supply chain performance for his/her/theirdivision. The Global Supply Chain Planning Director identifies new opportunities for supply chain performance improvements and determines the supply chain strategies which will result in world-class supply chain performance. Your Responsibilities Include: Orchestrate the monthly SI&OP process ensuring correct planning and coordination through all phases of the process. Act as key member of the CRMDx leadership team responsible for global service level, inventory levels, and overall coordination of supply chain. Manage inventory to an optimum level ensuring profitable revenue capture and growth for the business without service level interruptions. Monitor performance across the supply chain from supply side manufacturing and finished device suppliers through distribution channels to customers and address opportunities for improvement. Achieve divisional Performance Metric goals/objectives (Service Level, Backorders, Forecast Accuracy and Bias, Days Inventory on Hand, FG Scrap, EE&O) Understand and support regional supply chain strategy development and execution ensuring regional growth opportunities are fully supported. Provide strategic leadership and work direction to Global Supply Chain Managers, Supply Chain Planners, and Analysts. Also, as a Divisional Management Board member active in new product development, ensure supply chain representation on new product development teams and ensure inventory builds are appropriate given the launch assumptions and risks. Define pre-launch inventory objectives by region as well as the regional launch sequencing. Communicate launch strategy to supply chain community. Challenge the organization to strive for continuous improvement including cross functional work on Value Improvement Projects. Support adoption and execution of active product portfolio management delivering a robust process and reduced supply chain complexity. Support the inventory planning and execution of sustaining engineering changes - product revision changes, regional inventory buffer needs and product transitions. Understand and support the group in managing regulatory environment and implications on supply chain strategy and execution. Fully support BSC Quality Objectives Monitor supply chain performance (i.e., physical flow, allocation, master data, and intervene as required to ensure optimal performance). Provide support and leadership on our End-to-End Supply Chain Improvement strategy including improving our collaboration across BSCs as well as innovations to improve our planning capabilities including advanced analytics, supply chain visibility, and autonomous planning. What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or engineering. Fifteen plus years of Supply Chain and/or Materials Management experience with at least five years in manager role. Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience leading and developing team members. Solid grasp of the medical device industry with a working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization. Excellent facilitation/communication skills. Self-motivated, independent worker Direct experience in a global business. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering. Experience utilizing SAP and Advanced Planning systems.
